Connection Methods

The keyboard automatically pairs on the first startup.
Pairing: Long Press FN+Q or FN+W
Change connected device: Short Press FN+Q or FN+W

Keyboard Reset Methods

(10.2/10.9/11-inch) Keyboard Reset:
1. Press and hold HOME+DELETE until the red, green, arnd blue indicator
lights light up simultaneously, then release. The keyboard isnow reset
to factory settings.
2. Delete all Bluetooth devices from the tablet.
3. Turn off the tablet's Bluetooth function.
4. Restart the tablet.
5. Turn on the tablet's Bluetooth.
6. Turn on the keyboard. (First automatic pairing after reset)
7. Long Press and hold FN+Q or FN+W to pair.
(12.9/13-inch) Keyboard Reset:
1. Press and hold ESC+DELETE or HOME+ DELETE until thered, green,
and blue indicator lights light up simultaneously, then rrelease. The
keyboard is now reset to factory settings.
2. Delete all Bluetooth devices from the tablet.
3. Turn off the tablet's Bluetooth function.
4. Restart the tablet.
5. Turn on the tablet's Bluetooth.
6. Turn on the keyboard. (First automatic pairing after reset)
7. Perform the operation of connecting to Bluetooth.

Indicator light flashes red rapidly while charging

Possible motherboard damage. Contact customer service for a
replacement.

Unable to fully charge, no indicator light after unpluggiing

Check the charging indicator status:
- Steady red light: Charging
- Flashing red light: Low battery
- Green light stays on: Fully charged
If the indicator shows abnormal behavior, contactcustomer service for
assistance.

Tablet in the case cannot charge the stylus

1. Ensure the stylus is placed in the correct slot; the lower slot does
not support magnetic charging.
2. Verify the tablet model; some models do not supportstylus
charging.
3. Check the stylus model; some styluses do not support magnetic
charging.

Sleep/wake function not working

1. The function works only when the tablet and keyboardare aligned
and closed.
2. Check tablet settings: Ensure the lock/unlock function is enabled,
and the tablet is not set to never sleep,which preveits the keyboard
from enabling sleep/wake.
3. Not all products have this function; check the product description

Bluetooth indicator does not flash (first-time pairin(g)

1. The battery may have drained during storage. Chargefor over 2 hours to
activate the battery.
2. Pressing the pairing button while the power indicatoris flashing may cause the
light not to flash.

Cannot find the keyboard's pairing name

1. Follow the connection instructions in the marhual
2. Stay within the effective Bluetooth range (10 meters)
3. System incompatibility may occur; try reconnecting.
4. Bluetooth incompatibility: Update the tablet's system to the latest version or
test with another device to determine if the issue is withthe keyboard or tablet.
5. Low battery may cause unstable signals; charge the keyboard
6. After connecting and the screen turns off, pressirng the Bluetooth pairing key
during reconnection may cause the device to not be found. Solution:Turn off
both the keyboard and tablet Bluetooth, then turn themback on and reconnect.
7. If the Bluetooth pairing name was deleted but thee keyboard was not restarted,
it may not be found. Solution: Restart the keyboard afterdeleting the pairing
name.

Connection error when clicking to pair

1. An incorrect password or PIN was entered during pairing; 1this is a user-set
tablet password, not provided by Chesona.
2. Bluetooth 4.0 issue: Bluetooth 4.0 may show two addresses. If the tablet's
Bluetooth is turned on before the keyboard, one address may be unconnectable
Solution: Turn on the keyboard's Bluetooth first, then the talplet's.

Unable to connect

1. After unpairing, the keyboard may appear in the Bluetooth list as a cached
record but disappear after refreshing, preventing connecction. Solution: Restart the
keyboard and tablet Bluetooth, then pair again.
2. Wi-Fi signals may interfere with Bluetooth. Solution: Turn off the tablet's Wi-Fi
before connecting Bluetooth.

Unable to reconnect Bluetooth

Ensure the lock/unlock function is enabled.
Normal operation: Press any key on the keyboard and wait 5-10 seconds to
reconnect.
1. Reconnection time may vary due to system or Bluetoothversion differences
2. Another previously connected device nearby mayhave Bluetooth enabled,
causing the keyboard to connect to it instead.
3. Low battery may prevent reconnection
4. Pressing the Bluetooth pairing key during reconnectionmay cause failure.
Solution: Manually reconnect.

Bluetooth frequently disconnects or works intermittently

1. The keyboard may enter sleep mode after 10-30 minutesof inactivity, causing
disconnection. This is not a product defect.
2. Accidental pressing of the Bluetooth pairing key duuring typing may cause
disconnection.
3. A low battery on the device or keyboard can also Ilead to an unstable
connection.

Slow response or input lag when tablet is connected to bothmouse and keyboard

1. Close unnecessary background processes on the tablet.
2. Avoid 2.4GHz devices like microwaves or routers
3. Reconnect Bluetooth.
4. Charge the keyboard fully and unplug the charging ccable

Unable to turn on, red light shows when charging, but cannot turnon after unplugging

1. Charge the keyboard for over 3 hours and avoid frequently pressing the power
button, as this may damage it.
2. After fully charging, turn on the power button and usse the Bluetooth pairing
keys to connect.

Unable to connect via Bluetooth

1. Check the indicator light status:
When turning on the keyboard, does the blue light flashonce and then turn
off?
When pressing FN+Q or FN+W, does the blue/green lightkeep flashing
(indicating pairing mode)?
After a successful connection, the blue/green light stayson for 1-2 seconds,
then turns off.
2. Open the tablet's Bluetooth, find "Wireless Keyboard,"and connect.

Keys cannot type

Two scenarios:
1. Single key not typing: Foreign objects under the key, damaged scissor
mechanism/silicone pad, or liquid damage. Contact after-sales for replacement
parts.
2. Multiple keys in an area not typing: Damaged/looseribbon cable,circuit board
damage, or liquid damage. Restart the tablet, reset thee keyboard, and reconnect.
If unresolved, contact after-sales.

Keys require hard pressing to type

Likely a misaligned silicone pad, which cannot be repaiired by the user. Contact
after-sales for replacement parts.

Pressing a key produces a different character

1. Check if the tablet's input method matches the keyboard language
(e.g., English keyboard's Shift key symbols/letters work correctly only with English
input; other languages may cause errors. Special characters may require disabling
Caps Lock).
Solution: Set the input method to match the keyboard langguage (English-US
layout).
Use shortcuts like Ctrl+Space (refer to actual keyboard shoprtcuts) to switch to
English (US) input.
2. If the input method is still incorrect, go to Settings> General > Keyboard >
Hardware Keyboard > Select the appropriate keyboard language > Set to
Automatic or the corresponding language.

Letters appear on the screen without pressing keys

1. Perform a keyboard dictionary reset: Settings > Geeneral > Transfer or Reset
Tablet > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary.
2. The issue is usually caused by a stuck keycap. Clean tlhe key and reconnect.
3. If unresolved, contact us.

Key delay display

1. Close unnecessary background processes on the tablet.
2. Avoid 2.4GHz devices like microwaves or routers.
3. Reconnect Bluetooth.
4. Charge the keyboard fully and unplug the charging cabble.

Pressing one key (e.g., "F") types adjacent keys (e.g., "FCG")

Perform a keyboard dictionary reset: Settings > General> Transfer or Reset Tablet> Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

Key functions are abnormal (e.g., Space key returns todesktop,arrow keys select files)

Tablet settings issue; "Full Keyboard Access" is enabled

Caps Lock key switches input methods instead ofcase

Tablet settings issue; Caps Lock is set to switch languages.

Unable to type in Word; shows byte position error or invalid input

Microsoft requires tablets larger than 10.1 inches to be logged into a Microsoft account to use Word

Pressing Shift switches between Chinese and English instead of case

This is an issue with the Xunfei input method; in English mode, Shift switches case

Input method only allows English letters, not Chinese

1. Add a Chinese keyboard in Settings. If it still doesn't vwork, reset the keyboard dictionary
2. If the issue occurs in Word (on PC), go to the "Advanced" tab and uncheck "Input
Method Control is Active."

Unable to turn on backlight

1. Confirm that the product has backlighting.
2. Whether the backlight combination keys are correct.
3. Ensure the keyboard is fully charged before use.

Cannot switch colors or only has a single-color backlight

1. If the product is confirmed to have multi-color backlight,verify the correct key
combination
2. If the issue persists, contact us.

Page jumps or screen mis-touches during typing

This may be due to accidentally touching the trackpad. Press FN+Space to disable the trackpad. Press again to re-enable it.
